This is one of the most common questions I hear during meetings — especially at the beginning of a collaboration. Sometimes even during initial sales calls.

Why does everyone ask this?

It’s about the algorithms — we know we need to stay active for our posts to be shown.

Finding time to create content is not easy, especially at the start, when it takes a lot of time and requires overcoming your own internal blocks.

It is easier to focus on “how often” than on “what to post about” — because the second question requires strategy and ideas, and it often triggers impostor syndrome: “Do I really know enough about this?”

So what is the best posting frequency?

Let’s assume the “best” answer is: every day.
But best for whom?

For the platform? Probably yes. Algorithms like activity and fresh content.

For you? Not necessarily — unless you are a content creation professional, genuinely enjoy it, and have the time and energy.

For your audience? Maybe. But only if quality does not drop. Because posting less often but with higher quality is better.

What to do if you are just starting your profile?

If you are just beginning to build your personal brand, post three times per week. And keep it simple.

At the very beginning, share:

👉 anything related to your business
👉 anything you feel like sharing
👉 in any format you like — a post, carousel or reel

After you take that first step, choose three content pillars — three main topics you want to talk about. Publish about each topic once a week.

After around 90 posts, you will have enough data to draw conclusions about which topics perform better and which perform worse. Adjust your plan and continue.

I hear many different recommendations about posting frequency. What should I do?

I know. You can read advice about posting daily, preparing content a month in advance, or not starting without a full strategy. Those approaches also have value.

However, if you simply want to get moving and start — post three times a week.

The truth is: it is better to post three times a week and actually do it than to plan daily posts and burn out after a week.

Everything will come with time and practice!
